The one-on-one photography
sessions are where it all started for me.
I was never really sure I had what it takes to be in the wedding
business and I am sooo glad I decided to try it out and in fact I have been so
immersed in the wedding business for the last year that I really haven't been
able to get back to my roots of shooting the one-on-one personal sessions for
Seniors.
I absolutely love spending
the afternoon running around to different spots, changing outfits, and all the
good stuff that goes along with a Senior shoot!
Sonny is an awesome guy who blew out his knee in the early 2008 football
season. Unfortunately, he had to have
reconstructive surgery but man he bounced back quick! He showed me a few pictures of his gorgeous
girlfriend, and I was wishing he had brought her along for the shoot. After a good scolding we got to the shots and
here are few of my favs from the day.
Enjoy!

A father's love for a daughter is so apparent. I can only hope that I am blessed with a daughter (two boys so far, but we aren't giving up).

Derrick's brother is a very
close friend of mine and I was very enthused to find out this beautiful couple
wanted me to document the family for them!
He is a fire-fighter and she is a school teacher (wow, two brave
professions I could never do). Derrick
has spent time in
We had planned an afternoon
at the park and instead we got a very dreary rainy cold winter day....oh well, we
made the best of it in their beautiful home!
I love the look on LUKE's
face! Priceless for sure...
I am really good friends
with the Salas' and I have watched Madi (tooter) grow up. It is time for her first communion and I told
them that we had to make sure she has some great shots to show off at her
party! Here are few shots that I just
love...
A few weeks later I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda, Todd and her son. We had a blast out at Memorial Park in Houston (see the shots below). I saw Amanda recently at Jill's wedding and she mentioned how she wishes she had known about me before booking the photographer for her wedding, and I responded loudly, "ME TOO!!"
Anyway, onto the photos:
