We had a super fun time together and we will travel to San Antonio for their wedding taking place at The Witte Museum....should be special. For now here are a couple of my favorite shots from the engagement session:

We had talked so much by the time the wedding got here that I felt as if I was part of the family party. I always strive to make my clients feel comfortable in order for them to show their true emotion but with Elijah and Shawnna it was like I was shooting at my good friends party or something. We had a blast and these two were just as spontaneous as on the day of their engagement session. I loved the laid back atmosphere and am truly lucky to have been able to spend the day with you guys!

Sparks were certainly flying. I had the wrong settings, but think this shot is an example of how fast the time went by this evening.

I love any opportunity to do
a bridal shoot and I think they are so important for brides. I was really happy when Shawnna said she
really wanted to do a bridal shoot as I had not had the opportunity to do very
many and also because she is such a great subject! People are always mezmarized when see brides
out running around in their wedding dress and she definitely turned some heads
that day.
Shawnna is an upcoming
photographer in the wedding business and I have been fortunate enough to have
her tag along with me on a few shoots. I
really wish her all the best in her business and will have to update this post
with her website info when she finally launches it!
Meet Shawnna -

A few weeks later I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda, Todd and her son. We had a blast out at Memorial Park in Houston (see the shots below). I saw Amanda recently at Jill's wedding and she mentioned how she wishes she had known about me before booking the photographer for her wedding, and I responded loudly, "ME TOO!!"
Anyway, onto the photos:

You would have thought these two were the bride and groom! What a gorgeous couple.

It's not what it looks like, I promise!!
