I really wish I had he opportunity to document more expecting mothers. For some reason it's tough to get these scheduled but for the ones I have done the mothers keep telling me how much they cherish them. Voula is 32 weeks here:

Well this was my first wedding commission ever so, I thought it would be fun to post a few of the photos that make me smile. I am going to upload many of the events done previous to making this blog, but I will not have the time to completely list everything so I hope you enjoy what I list. All future wedding, engagement, bridal and any other shoot will be uploaded to this blog no matter what so say tuned for he latest and greatest.
They got married at this really great location called The Hidden Palms. Brian and Amy really have a killer setup out at this place and it compliments a photographer well due to the available light and space. I used a Nikon D50 (my first DSLR), a sigma 20-200 f3.5 and a 50mm f1.8. When I used a flash (very little) it is was on camera.
These two were high school sweethearts and they had framed a bunch of old pictures of themselves from good-ol' high school on all of the tables. Here's one:

I love the way the light is hitting her face as they are saying their vows.

How lucky were we?! The sun setting on their escape route?!

Full moon anyone?

Jordan is a friend of mine who met this crazy, fun girl named Bronchelle. The two live here in Houston and after a few years decided do the duty and join the ranks of us married folk. Jordan knew what he wanted to do so I agreed to meet them at the Japanese Gardens.
I think the expressions from these two show how deep their love goes for each other. I keep trying to talk Jordan into doing video professionally but he just isn't sure if he wants to take the leap. Maybe through your posts below you can inspire him to explore a little deeper into his talent.

I love doing family shoots because you get to see how much love is shared and the interaction with each other. Also getting to see the glow of the mothers who know they are capturing a piece of history for their families. The Cluxton's live on a big farm about 45 miles north of Houston (Willis, TX) and I felt very honored to be invited into their lives even if it was just for an afternoon.

I just couldn't resist cropping her facial expression out of this shot.

Where to begin, well this was my first ever commission and I decided it would be fun to look back a this shoot. One of my best friends is Roy (her Dad) and his wife really wanted some fun photos of Madeline for her fourth birthday. She knew I was attempting to get a photography business started so we set it up at a local park.
Here are a few of my favorites:
